Action was picked up on the river with the board showing 7?7?Q?Q?A? and roughly 24,000 in the pot.

Nawaung Maran bet out 8,000, before Sergio Dantas raised to 30,000. Maran then three-bet to put Dantas all in for his remaining stack of 50,000, which put Dantas in the blender. After several minutes in the tank, another player at the table called the clock on Dantas. After the floor was almost finished the countdown, Dantas made the call to put himself at risk.

Maran tabled Q?J? for a full house queens full of sevens, and Dantas tossed A?K? in the air as he quickly left the tournament area as Maran scooped the sizeable pot.

Michael Vanderveer
Michael Vanderveer

Action was picked up on the turn with roughly 14,000 in the pot and the board showing 3?7?8?5?.

Michael Vanderveer was all in for 74,600, and Miguel Martinez called to put him at risk.

Michael Vanderveer: 9?8? All in
Miguel Martinez: 9?7?

Both players had a flush draw, and it was Vanderveer ahead with his pair of nines, with Martinez needing a seven, heart to take the pot, or a non club six to chop the pot. But the river was the A? and Vanderveer still had the best hand to double up and take the sizable pot.

Berman Finds an Ace to Triple Up

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Kevin Berman
Kevin Berman

Ralph Porter raised to 2,500 from under the gun which was called by Nawaung Maran in the hijack. Then Mikhail Snatovskii three-bet to 9,000 in the cutoff, before Kevin Berman four-bet all in for 37,400. Porter then went all in for 37,500 and after thiking about his decision for over a minute, Maran folded. Snatovskii quickly made the call to put both players at risk.

Kevin Berman: A?Q? All in
Ralph Porter: K?K? All in
Mikhail Snatovskii: Q?Q?

It was a massive showdown of premium hands, with Porter in the driver seat to get a triple up. The 5?6?10? flop changed nothing, but the A? on the turn put Berman in front with his pair of aces. The river was the 3? and Berman tripled up, leaving Porter with just 200 chips.

Shortly after Porter was seen leaving the tournament area as he was eliminated.
