Keith Crowder Bags Overall Chip Lead After Day 1d of $1,100 Event #2 at the Pennsylvania State Poker Championship
Day 1d at the Pennsylvania State Poker Championship in $1,100 Event #2 has been completed. The final Day 1 flight of the event saw the most entrants yet, with 215, and 27 players bagging up and advancing to Day 2, to join the 36 players who already advanced to the final day. The chip leader after the final flight was Keith Crowder who bagged 1,178,000.
Crowder had a late surge on the final two hands of the night, when he made a tough call on the river after herivered a set of kings, which also brought the front door flush in. Then Crowder won a massive pot on the stone bubble when he woke up with kings again, and Ryan Mostafa four-bet all-in with ace-jack. After Crowder flopped a set, and Mostafa missed his straight draw, Crowder became the overwhelming chip leader and burst the bubble.

Day 2 will have 60-minute levels, starting at wherever the earliest Day 1 flight ended. Players will have a 15-minute break after every two levels of play and will have a dinner break that is TBD.
All the remaining players in the field have made the money, and PokerNews will update on the full prize pool payout, and Day 2 seat draw when available.
Players that have qualified for Day 2 with multiple chip stacks will only be permitted to play their highest qualifying stack. The other stacks will be taken out and removed from play and the player will receive the minimum Day 2 payout for each stack.
The Gold Pass to the NAPT Las Vegas Main Event is in play which will be awarded to the champion of the tournament. The winner will receive travel, hotel accommodations, and the $5,300 buy-in to the tournament this November.
