Duhamel Doubles Through Smith
We're barely 30 minutes in to the tournament and already we've seen two monster pots. In the most recent, Jonathan Duhamel raised preflop and received calls from Alex Keating and Shane Schleger. When action reached John Smith in the big blind, he reraised to 4,200. Duhamel responded by making it 11,7000, which pushed Keating and Schleger out of the pot, and Smith moved all in. Duhamel quickly called for a total of 51,625 and the cards were turned up:
Smith:
Duhamel:
Smith was in great shape with pocket kings yet again. Duhamel was looking for an ace, but the flop gave him some straight outs with any ten. The turn brought him one step close to elimination, but much to his relief and the surprise of the other players, the spiked on the river! Duhamel hit his card to double to just over 100K while Smith dropped back down to the starting stack of 50,000.
