Level 28
: 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
On the button, Joe Hachem looked down at and opened to 180,000, and Victor Ramdin folded his small blind. In the big, though, Jeremy Ausmus squeezed , and he stuck in a three-bet to 605,000 total. After a moment to consider, Hachem moved in on a four-bet, and Ausmus was getting the right price to call with a chance at the knockout.
The flop was a good one for Hachem as it gave him top pair and a commanding lead with two to come. The turn was scary but safe, and the river secured Hachem's double up. He's now has a big chip lead with close to 6.3 million, while Ausmus has fallen back to about 4 million.
