With Shahade's exit, the feature table headlines a heads-up battle between Pescatori and Jens Lakemeier.
We have our first player to re-enter on the day as Vladimir Troyanovskiy opted to re-enter for €10,000 for his second bullet into the OFC Championship High Roller after being eliminated by Kostiantyn Tupalo.
Shortly after Tran exiting the tournament, Junde Ye followed suit after being eliminated on the table of Yuanxi Chen and the newest entrant, Evgeny Kocherov.
We are now at 21 entrants with Evgeny Kocherov joining the field. Not much is known about this player from Russia with just two live tournament cashes for slightly more than $11,000 recorded back in 2013 according to The Hendon Mob.
About three hours into the tournament, Duc Hanh Tran becomes the first player to be eliminated at the hands of Sergey Rybachenko. Rybachenko is the early chip leader in the event with 120,000 chips. We expect the action to pick up a bit as chip value per points continues to rise.
