Chen Pays Off Wang

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante
Ye Wang
Ye Wang

As news of the shorter day spread around the four High Roller tables, James Chen and Ye Wang were getting busy with the short time they had left on Day 1A.

There was an {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop out there and Chen checked from the big blind position. Wang put out what was presumably a c-bet worth 2,000, and Chen came along to see the {a-Clubs} turn. He'd check it again, and Wang didn't slow down, leading for 3,500 this time. Chen called once more.

The {2-Clubs} completed the board and when Chen checked a third time Wang fired 11,500. Chen spent around a minute and a half thinking things over, all the while holding calling chips. He'd ultimately toss them in, but would muck his hand when Wang showed {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for trips.

There's only 15 minutes left on Day 1A now.
