Too Many Broken Hearts

It may not be bonfire night, but we've seen fireworks on the feature table. Perched at ringside I had an obstructed view, but Nik Persaud filled me in on the gory details.

According to the Black Belt Poker pro, Francisco Torres Hermoso opened for 16,000, Ross Boatman moved all in for 22,000 and Barry Donovan called only for George Cunningham to push for 160,000 two seats along.

As the action folded back round to the Spaniard, he mulled over his options for a moment before shoving too! And Donavon called!

Somehow - and to the cries of "live poker is rigged!" - we have a quite epic four way all-in. What's more remarkable, however, is that Donavon has all three men absolutely dominated.

Francisco Torres Hermoso = {Q-?}{Q-?}
Ross Boatman = {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Barry Donovan = {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
George Cunningham = {Q-?}{Q-?}

And what a flop, the {6-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} leaving Boatman drawing dead, and only backdoor diamonds to knock Donovan off his perch. But, alas, no bizarre turn of events occurred as the final cards came {4-Hearts} and {9-Clubs}.

Boatman out, Donavon doubles, and Hermoso and Cunningham chop. Phew, I think I need a lie down.
