Day 1b Concludes
Day 1b of the Main Event at the 2010 Full Tilt Poker Merit Cyprus Classic has come to a close. Seventy-one players came to play today and 61 will return tomorrow to join the 80 survivors from Day 1a. Nobody cracked six figures when all was said and done today, but several are very close.
November Niner John Dolan finished the day with 95,400 and is looking to spread his Main Event success to the other side of the world. Sorel Mizzi bagged up a stack of 90,225 and is always dangerous with chips at his disposal. Among those that will not be back for Day are WPT Champion Roy Winston and WSOP bracelet winner Martin Klaeser.
The overall chip leader is EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final Champion Nicolas Chouity with 119,600. He played Day 1a. The 141 survivors from both Day 1 flights will return to the felt at 2:00 pm local time tomorrow.
