Marvin Gets a Snap Fold
William Marvin limped from under the gun and was raised to 2,100 by Kou Vang, who was in the hijack. Action folded back to Marvin and he made the call.
The flop came and Marvin checked. Vang made a continuation-bet of 1,800 and Marvin called. The turn came and Marvin checked again. Vang tossed out a bet of 4,600. Marvin announced he was all in before Vang's chips hit the felt, and Vang's cards went to the muck immediately thereafter to earn Marvin the pot.
Upon winning the pot, the tournament director asked for the next big blind to move tables. Marvin was that player and he was moved to the seat formerly occupied by Daniel Schmidtknecht, who had just been eliminated from the tournament. However, he immediately rebought and just took the seat formerly occupied by Marvin in a dance of $2,500 musical chairs.
