"Basically, I Got Slow Rolled"
Blake Bohn opened to 2,500 from middle position and action folded around to Vic Peppe, who defended his big blind. The flop came and both players checked.
The turn was and Peppe led out for 2,000. Bohn clicked it back, putting out a minimum raise to 4,000. Peppe called and the river fell .
"You're thinking about it," said Bohn, looking over to Peppe and commenting on perceiving he had a desire to bet as Peppe checked. He was unsure what Bohn said and asked for confirmation in a manner that did led one to believe his answer would have been no.
"I was thinking about it," said Peppe.
Bohn commented back, believing that now Peppe was fibbing about actually considering a bet before throwing out a bet of 10,000 himself. Peppe confirmed he wasn't lying, immediately tossing in chips to call.
Bohn tabled for trip kings. Peppe showed for a full house, kings full of tens. Bohn congratulated Peppe on a nice hand as the pot was sent his way, though the discussion did not end. Peppe eventually commented about how poorly he believed he played the hand: "I should have been raising that shit the whole way," he said.
"No you didn't. You played it perfectly," said Bohn in sarcastic fashion about having lost so few chips with trips. "I was basically slow rolled."
