There was around 8,600 in the middle from preflop action between Ian Matakis in the cutoff, and Vic Peppe, who was in the big blind. The flop came 
and Peppe checked. Matakis bet 6,000 and Peppe thought for a few seconds before putting in chips to call.
The turn came 
and Peppe jammed in his last 28,900. Matakis quickly called.

Peppe's had flopped top pair and turned an open-ended straight draw prior to committing the last of his chips. However, he found himself up against Matakis' two pair and was in need of hitting one of the ten cards in the deck that would keep him alive. He was unable to do so as the river fell 
, leaving him out of chips as he got up from his seat, congratulated Matakis on a nice hand, and wished the rest of the table good luck before exiting the tournament area, bringing the number of remaining players to 11 in the process.
