There was a heads up pot between Roger Johnson in the small blind and Kou Vang, who was on the button, with a little over 30,000 in the middle after flop action to bring the turn on a board that read 
. Both players checked. The river dropped 
and Johnson checked again.
"Sixteen thousand," said Vang, sliding forward the equivalent bet. Johnson thought for about 15 seconds and then sent his cards to the muck. Vang asked him after the hand if he had a spade and he shook his head no. He then continued stacking his newly-earned chips to bring his total to around the 150,000-mark.
