Sorenson Off To a Fast Start
John Sorenson was in the hijack and opened to 8,000. Action folded to Mike Nelson, who three-bet all in out of the small blind. The big blind folded after long deliberation to put action back onto Sorenson, who quickly called for less.

"Nice hand," Nelson said to Sorenson as the flop came .
"It ain't over till it's over," responded Sorenson, watching the turn fall .
"A nice hand either way," said Nelson. The river completed the runout with Sorenson's hand remaining best and his stack was counted out to be 96,000. Nelson paid the required amount, leaving him with just a handful of blinds left in his stack. Meanwhile, Sorenson appeared to have already doubled once prior, bringing his stack up to 200,000 from the 40,000 he brought into the day.
