Timoshenko Playing Great Again Today

This pot was limped seven ways to a flop of {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Action checked to Roland De Wolfe who held {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and he fired 13,000. Yevgeniy Timoshenko made the call holding {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and then Giovanni Safina called as well with the {Q-Hearts}{3-Clubs} from the big blind position. After the turn, only those three players remained with the pot at 53,000. Just like yesterday, Timoshenko would need to make a sick read to not go broke here.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Safina checked. De Wolfe fired 45,000 and action went to Timoshenko. He studied the hand motionless and quiet for a little bit and then just made the call. Safina folded.

The river completed the board with the {A-Spades}, a great card that might have saved Timoshenko. De Wolfe checked. This same situation happened yesterday with Timoshenko against Tony G, where Tony G checked the river with a set over to Timoshenko. After Timoshenko bet with two pair, Tony G raised small and Timoshenko got away from the hand.

Timoshenko tanked and even asked De Wolfe how much he had left. Did he know that betting here would be turning his hand into a bluff against De Wolfe? After a couple minutes, Timoshenko bet 150,000 to put De Wolfe all in. After a while, De Wolfe folded his hand.

The players have agreed to show all hands because of the fact that they can check the updates from us during the breaks. To make things all fair, everyone agreed to just turn up their hands at the end. Timoshenko showed the hand and stated that he thought De Wolfe had the exact same hand and that he was trying to push him off a chop. De Wolfe showed what he folded and was left looking sick about the hand.
