A total of 215 entries took to the felt in the $5,300 MILLIONS Finale at the Caribbean Poker Party Festival but just 26 are still standing at the end of Day 2. Leading the way is Pavel Plesuv with 21,950,000, and he's joined by several highly accomplished players, including Adrian Mateos (10,975,000), Koray Aldemir (8,675,000), Kenny Hallaert (9,625,000), and Day 1 chip leader Chris Hunichen (9,075,000). Partypoker Sponsored Pros Anatoly Filatov (7,900,000), Roberto Romanello (5,900,000), and Kristen Bicknell (2,550,000) are still also in the hunt. Additionally, partypoker Head of Poker Tom Waters will take a sizeable 15,700,000-chip stack out of the bag when Day 3 begins.

The field is currently just three spots away from the money since 23 places will be paid. A mincash is good for $10,000 but all eyes are fixed on the $250,000 first prize.

Unfortunately, not all the familiar faces who took their seats for Day 2 action survived to the day's end. Philipp Gruissem, Stephen Chidwick, partypoker Sponsored Pro Marcel Luske, Jack Sinclair, Ari Engel, Sergio Aido, partypoker Sponsored Pro Natalia Breviglieri, Rainer Kempe, and Mike Leah were among the fallen.

Day 2 was scheduled to play out over eight levels but tournament staff elected to add a dinner break and two more levels of play. When play resumes on Saturday at noon local time, blinds will be 100,000/200,000 with a 200,000-chip button ante.
