Down But Not Out
With only two levels left to play, players are fighting it out to build a stack to take through to tomorrow's second day. Carl Froch, partypoker ambassador, might be king of the ring, but he'll need to prove his worth at the table to come back after losing most of his chip stack to Shaun Deeb.
The hand started with Froch raising to 32,000 from the button. The small blind 3-bet to 105,000 which caught Deeb's attention in the big blind as he studied his cards. He eventually called and Froch made the call too.
Three players took a flop of and action was checked to Froch. He bet out for 200,000, and after the small blind folded, Deeb moved all-in with his remaining 350,000. Froch thought about it for a long time, and eventually decided on a call to take us to showdown.
