Lynskey Runs Into Trips on the River
Alex Lynskey is the first player from this year's WSOP Main Event final table to make an appearance here at the partypoker Caribbean Poker Party. The Australian poker pro will be looking to carry that momentum forward and find a breakthrough into the high roller scene.
Things started off a bit shaky for Lynskey after he called a 15,000 raise from Abraham Passet out of the big blind. The flop fell and Lynskey checked to Passet who continued for 11,000. Lynskey check-raised to 40,000 and Passet called.
The turn brought the and Lynskey led out for another 160,000. Passet continued to call and the paired the board on the river. Lynskey slowed down with a check this time and Passet stuck in a bet of 260,000. Lynskey went into the tank for a couple of minutes and eventually called. Passet turned over for trip eights and Lynskey mucked his cards.
