Haxton's Elimination Brings the Field to Two Tables
Just a few hands after losing a big pot to Leon Tsoukernik, Chance Kornuth was unable to turn things around as he was ousted from the MILLIONS World event along with Matt Berkey. There were just 17 players remaining, only one away from combining to the final two tables.
Isaac Haxton raised it up from the cutoff and Ben Tollerene called on the button. The two players saw a flop of and both checked to the on the turn. That is when all of the chips got in the middle but Haxton was disappointed to see the cards. Tollerene turned over for a straight while Haxton held pocket kings. The on the river changed nothing and the field was narrowed down to just two tables.
Isaac Haxton was the last partypoker pro remaining but he will have to settle for a 17th place finish. Meanwhile, Tollerene has amassed a stack of over 72,000,000, three times the average stack in the tournament.
