Welcome to the Caribbean Poker Party $50,000 Super High Roller

CPP Poker Room
CPP Poker Room

It's a busy day at the partypoker 2018 Caribbean Poker Party, as not only will the $25,500 MILLIONS World and $5,300 Main Event continue, but there's a $50,000 Super High Roller on the docket as well.

The $50,000 Super High Roller will sport the usual partypoker chip structure with 1 million in starting chips and levels starting at 2,000/5,000 with a 5,000 big blind ante. Unlimited reentry is permitted and the structure is a bit faster to fit into a single day, featuring 30-minute levels.

The tournament is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start here at Baha Mar, but high roller events tend to get rolling a bit late in many cases so it remains to be seen if that will ultimately be the case. Either way, the setup of the Main Event has been structured to allow players maximum flexibility, with Day 2 buy-ins that are still 50 big blinds deep so everyone can still fire this if they'd like, even if they've yet to find a bag in the Main.

Fields here at the Caribbean Poker Party have been chock-full of the strongest and deepest-pocketed poker players out there, so there should certainly be an appetite for the hefty buy-in event. Unfortunately, due to limited resources on hand, PokerNews will only be providing token coverage of this nosebleed tournament. Check back for updates on players and the prize pool, as well as a recap at day's end.
