The board read and Patrick Leonard had checked from the big blind. Manig Loeser, in the hijack, bet 220,000 and Leonard looked at Loeser's stack. Leonard called.
The turn brought them the , Leonard checked once more. Loeser now bet 490,000, Leonard responded with a raise to 2,000,000 which effectively put Loeser all-in. Loeser called.
Loeser tabled and Leonard showed , Leonard was hoping for a four or nine to complete his straight draw but the on the river wasn't that and Loeser doubled up for the 1,675,000 he had in total.
On the other table, Bertrand Grospellier was eliminated when his king-ten couldn't win against the ace-king of Christoph Vogelsang.
The eleven remaining players have just gone for another 10-minute break. When they come back they will be playing with a small blind of 60,000, a big blind of 120,000 and a button ante of 120,000.
Stefan Schillhabel raised to 250,000 from the cutoff and Bertrand Grospellier shoved for 360,000 on the button, Schillhabel called.

The board of provided the queen on the river and Grospellier doubled.
Schillhabel raised to 210,000 right after and Joao Simao called on the button, as did Christoph Vogelsang in the small blind and Hans Thumann in the big blind. On the flop, Schillhabel continued for 310,000 and picked up a single caller in Simao. The on the turn brought a second barrel for 1.425 million and Simao folded.
Over on the other table, Bartlomiej Machon limped in and Niall Farrell in the small blind raised to 375,000. Machon called and the flop was checked. Machon bet the turn for 550,000 and Farrel folded. The Scotsman also gave up the last hand before the break to Patrick Leonard, who bumped his stack to almost 10 million.
Christoph Vogelsang raised to 205,000 from the hijack and was called by Bertrand Grospellier in the big blind.
They both checked through the on the flop to the on the turn. Grospellier came out with a bet of 300,000 which Vogelsang called.
The river completed the board with the , Grospellier now bet 715,000, Vogelsang counted his stack and then pushed his whole stack over the line. Grospellier asked for a count. The dealer complied with the request and confirmed that Vogelsang had 1,380,000 in total in front of him. Grospellier looked at his own stack and then called.
Vogelsang tabled for the straight. Grospellier threw his cards over the line and the dealer wanted to throw them in the muck but Stefan Schillhabel managed to stop her and asked her to flip open the cards. The dealer did so and showed that Grospellier had for the lower straight.
Hans Thumann raised to 280,000 first to act and Joao Simao called in the small blind. Both players opted to check the flop and Simao bet the turn for 415,000, Thumann called. On the river, Simao asked "can I see your stack?" and Thumann moved his hands to provide free sight on his remaining chips.
Simao gave it some more brief consideration and checked, as did Thumann, to see the partypoker ambassador from Brazil turn over for eights and treys. That was enough to win the pot, as Thumann sent his cards into the muck.
Patrick raised from the under-the-gun position and action folded to Bartlomiej Machon in the small blind who shoved for 1,120,000 in total. Leonard asked to confirm the amount and when that was confirmed, Leonard called.

Renato Nowak made it 200,000 to go and called a three-bet to 425,000 by Patrick Leonard. The flop was checked through before Nowak bet the turn for 500,000, Leonard called. On the river, Nowak moved all in for approximately 1.4 million and Leonard called.
"Do you have a king?" Nowak asked and didn't want to show his cards just yet. Leonard nodded and Nowak then turned over for top pair. Leonard had the better kicker with and jumped into the lead with 11 players remaining. "Hah, take it, good bye," Nowak said before heading to the rail.
Niall Farrell raised to 175,000 on the button and Renato Nowak made it 350,000 to go out of the small blind, Farrell called. The flop was checked and Nowak's bet on the turn for 315,000 forced a fold. Farrell mucked the and Nowak replied "no good, if hearts come I go all in" and flashed the .
Nowak raised to 160,000 and Manig Loeser called in the small blind. Philipp Gruissem three-bet all in for 1.09 million and Nowak folded, Loeser called.

Over on the other table, Joao Simao raised to 175,000 and was called by Johannes Becker and Stefan Schillhabel in the blinds. The flop came and action checked to Simao, who bet 375,000. Becker moved all in for 2.2 million and that forced two folds.
