Brooks Eliminated
Simon Brooks has just lost two hands back-to-back to be eliminated in 14th place.

Brooks had woken up with pocket aces and had a big preflop lead but when Purewal hit trip fours on the flop and held as the board completed to secure a very unlikely double up.
In the very next hand, Charles Akadiri raised to 4m from the cutoff, and Simon Brooks moved all in for eight big blinds the small blind and announced to the table he had not looked at his cards. James Golder reshoved from the big blind and Akadiri folded.

It was Brooks' turn to come from behind and took the lead on the flop when he hit two pair. But the river card was revealed to be the king of clubs, and Golder regained the lead with a higher two pair to eliminate Brooks.
