Such is the size of the Day 2 field here in the partypoker LIVE UK Poker Championships ￡1,100 Main Event, there were half a dozen or so tables out in the marquee, which are slowly being broken into the main room.
One of the most recent tables to break contained former MILLIONS UK winner Maria Lampropulos. As she left the marquee she was stopped by Emma Tolley, also still in the Main Event.
"I just wanted to congratulate you on your recent successes," said Tolley, and the ever-gracious Lampropulos thanked her.
It just serves as a reminder of how much of an effect Lampropulos and her wins here at Dusk Till Dawn and more recently at the PCA are having on women's poker and poker in general.
