Pot For Willow Connolly On Action Table
Willow Connolly opened for 150 from under the gun.
“You don’t think that’s going to get through do you? Not on this table,” her neighbour said as he folded and he was proved right.
Peter Cahill was in middle position and he raised it up to 350. That got calls from another player and the blinds and Connolly put in the extra. “No respect,” came the cry as five players went to the flop.
The flop was and it was checked to the three-bettor Cahill who continued for 600. That got one fold but Alan Kelleher in the small blind raised to 1,200. Connolly stuck around and that was enough to persuade Cahill to fold.
It was heads up to the turn card . Kelleher check-called a bet of 1,800 from Connolly and they then both checked the river.
Connolly showed for the winner and Kelleher tabled the losing .
