Jacobson Takes the Overall Chip Lead into Day 2
Day 1b of the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Grand Final Barcelona Warm Up is in the books. In total for Day 1b, there were 445 entries with 150 players through to Day 2, Tuesday, April 10th. Taking the overnight chip lead for Day 1b is Martin Jacobson with 12,265,000 in chips.
The 2014 World Champion had no competition on the podium as in second place is Alan King Lun Lau with 8,675,000. In third place was Dutchman Marius Gierse with 7,345,000. Other notable chip counts include Adam Neal (7,210,000), Martin Weiemann (6,430,000), Aylar Lie (5,760,000), Krasimir Yankov (4,560,000), and Milad Oghabian (4,315,000).
partypoker was well represented on Day 1b: Kristen Bicknell, Johnny Lodden, Philipp Gruissem, Joni Jouhkimainen, Marcel Luske, Padraig Parkinson, and Natalia Breviglieri all made it through the first day. They weren’t all lucky though as Dzmitry Urbanovich, Renato Nomura, and Richard Dubini fell at the final hurdles.
Together with the 92 players that survived Day 1a, the 150 remaining 1b players will come back at 12:30 local time as the start time has been revised by the tournament staff. The 242 players will continue on Level 13 with a small blind of 35,000, big blind of 70,000 and a button ante of 70,000.
