Quads for Irvine

Billy Irvine just made quads in The High Roller Big Game to double through Patrick Pedersen.

The board was {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts} with Irvine holding {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} which was enough to beat the {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} of Pedersen.

He now sits with 3.4 million in chips behind chip leader Samuel Vousden with 4.3 million.

Doubles for Leonard and Haxton in the High Roller Big Game

Patrick Leonard just doubled through Paul Hong in The High Roller Big Game when his {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} held against {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} on a {q-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} runout.

He is joined in the tournament by Jason Koon, Isaac Haxton and Joni Jouhkimainen from Team partypoker, with Haxton also having been the beneficiary of a recent double.

He held {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} against the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} of Danchev. The run out {9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Spades} gave Haxton a set and he doubled up.

Double Elimination for Ivarsson

Out of the corner of our eye on Patrick Leonard's table, we saw a three-way all in between Aliaksei Boika, Alexander Ivarsson and Niklas Astedt.

Aliaksei Boika: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Alexander Ivarsson: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Niklas Astedt: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

It appeared that the money went in on a {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, although there is no way to confirm this, with Boika holding a flush draw against the two pocket pairs.

The {2-Spades} turn and {8-Hearts} river changed nothing and Ivarsson eliminated two players, moving up to second in chips behind fellow Swede Simon Mattsson.

Leonard in Action in the High Roller Big Game

Leonard vs Vousden High Roller Big Game
Leonard vs Vousden High Roller Big Game

So far in the major events, Patrick Leonard's the only partypoker Pro in action.

He had moved above starting stack in the High Roller Big Game and was in a pot against Samuel Vousden.

On a {7-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} turn, Vousden had bet 38,230 and Leonard raised in position to 119,000. Vousden called.

He then checked the {k-Hearts} river and Leonard bet 175,000 into a pot of 350,000.

Vousden check-raised all in for 550,000 and Leonard eventually folded.
