Another partypoker Sunday LIVE is Now Complete
It was a smaller Sunday today with the $60,000 guaranteed The Gladiator as the biggest event of the day. That one saw almost 1,700 entries in total, enough to crush the guarantee, but it was a successful Sunday across the featured events.
PokerNews also featured four events with $50,000 guaranteed, The One Shot, The Weekender, The Sunday 500 and The 300. They all blew past their guarantees in the end with solid turnouts.
The Gladiator
The $55 Gladiator had $60,000 guaranteed, but when the dust settled on registration, there was a whopping $84,550 in the middle for prizes. A total of 1,691 entries were recorded before registration closed, with 263 players getting paid.
It took about eight hours for "SeuCoudet" to take down the big prize. There was $5,212 in prizes for first, but they picked up more than $4,700 more in bounties through the game.

The Sunday 500
When registration closed on The Sunday 500. the six-handed game ended up with 142 total entries. That meant there was $71,000 to play for in the $50,000 guaranteed event.
"jcm_1995" emerged victorious after about six and a half hours of play, defeating "Cavenaghi" heads-up after being forced to mount a comeback. "jcm_1995" came into heads-up with the lead, but then ended up in a topsy-turvy battle with "Cavenaghi" that saw them at risk for their life.
They managed to turn it around and take down more than $16,000, including more than $10,000 in bounties.

The Weekender Final Day
It took a bit more than six hours for the Final Day of The Weekender to play down from 101 returning players to a winner, but in the end it was "Modernus" who pulled off the comeback to take it down.
There was $68,900 in the prize pool for this $50,000 guaranteed event, and "Modernus" came into the final table at a significant chip disadvantage. However, they played the short stack masterfully, hanging on and slowly chipping back up and eventually into a position to take it down.
They won more than $8,700 in total, while "HITER", who came into the heads-up a huge favorite, had to settle for around $7,500 for second place.

The 300
There was $71,000 in the prize pool by the time registration closed in The 300, on the back of 239 entries. It took them a bit more than 6 hours to play down to a winner and it was "Machado de Ax" who booked more than $14,000 for the win.
It wasn't much of a heads-up battle in this one, as it went very quickly, though the lead did swing a couple times in the process. Ultimately, "Pokerboy1994" had to settle for a bit more than $8,000 for second.
It looked like partypoker Team Online member Matthew Staples might have a deep run in this one today, and he did manage to book a cash. He was chip leader for a while, and in the top five counts for a significant period heading up to the money bubble, but ultimately he fell in 35th place for a small cash.

The One Shot
The final feature game of the day to finish up was The One Shot, though it only took a bit more than eight hours to finish. In the end, it was "IGotHigh420" getting the biggest share of the $70,686 prize pool.
They had to battle through 693 entries to get to the title, but didn't have an easy time of it heads-up against "piruriruriii". "piruriruriii" started with a disadvantage, but managed to chip back to even. That was as far as they got though, with "IGotHigh420" taking it down when their dominated king got there.
