Both active games are currently being led by Dan. In WPT Grand, it is Dan Moran still leading the way as Level 2 ticks down, while in the WPT Super $215, Daniel Mohm has taken over the lead now with almost 300,000 chips.

The first level of WPT Grand is complete now, and start-of-day leader Dan Moran still has the biggest stack. He's chipped up a bit since the start of the day, playing more than 2.7 million. David Lopez Llacer is in second with almost 2.2 million, while Michael Skleni?ka is just behind in third with just over 2.1 million.
Nearly two levels are complete in the faster-paced WPT Super $215. Canadian Octavian Zamfir leads the pack with $100 in bounties and more than 277,000 chips. Irish PKO specialist Dara O'Kearney is in second place with $50 in bounties and about 220,000 chips. O'Kearney literally wrote the book on PKO strategy with his recent collaboration with Barry Carter, PKO Poker Strategy.
The first two games of the day are now underway, with the final phase of the WPT Grand and the WPT Super $215 kicking off. WPT Super $215 plays 10 minute blinds through the day in a progressive knockout format. Players start the day with 100,000 chips and can late register or re-enter through the first 12 levels.
The WPT Grand is the Final Phase of this phased event that lets players buy 1 million chips on the final day for $1,050, or play one of the earlier, less expensive phases to bag a final phase stack that is potentially larger than 1 million. Dan Moran is one of the players to do that, as he led the counts before action even started today, coming into the final phase with 2,677,053 and the chip lead.
Both games have some distance to go before they hit the guarantee, but with 12 levels of registration in both games there is is plenty of time to get there. Stay tuned here for updates on the action through the day.
