"JBird401" Takes Down BetMGM MI "End Boss" Event #1: $535 No-Limit Hold'em ($8,162)
Darren Elias' "End Boss" online poker series in the great state of Michigan via the BetMGM/partypoker network Tuesday night. The first even on the schedule was the $535 8-Max No-Limit Hold'em, which came with a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool. A total of 62 players took a shot at a huge payout, creating a $31,000 prize pool.
When the final card was dealt, online poker player "JBird401" defeated "farmhand" heads-up to become the first champion of the series. The winner is now in the driver's seat going forward in search of being crowned the "End Boss," awarded to the player who performs the best overall throughout the series.
"JBird401" earned a prize of $8,162 for their impressive performance, while "farmhand" walked away with $5,425 as a nice consolation prize. The final table results were as follows:

On Tuesday, the End Boss series also had two additional winners in a similar tournament in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Elias, the only four-time World Poker Tour champion ever, competed in the New Jersey event and will do so throughout the online poker series, which runs through November 28. Event #2: $215 Pot-Limit Omaha kicks off at 7 p,m. ET Wednesday evening, and features a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool.
