On the direct money bubble with seven players, Vanauken was actually the short stack by quite a large margin. However, he would score a double up on the bubble and would continue to rise up the counts from there. Local known pro Michael "Gags30" Gagliano would wind up being the bubble boy, after getting it in good, but losing to an eventual full house.

Vanauken would remain one of the short stacks until he scored a big knockout of "rounder1420", when his pocket jacks held against his opponent's ace-kack.

Not long after, another big hand would see Vanauken scored another big knockout. It was pocket aces this time, and those aces held against another ace-jack. Heads-up play wouldn't last very long, as Vanauken made quick work of "phillychzsteak1."

The Progressive Bounty tournaments roll on tomorrow with a $12,000 Guaranteed Event, just like the opening event. It will be starting up at 7:30 p.m. ET at PokerNews will offer live updates.

"phillychzsteak1" Eliminated in 2nd Place ($2,295 + $800 in Bounties)

Blinds: 6,000/12,000

Eric alwaysliquid Vanauken had extended his chip lead to about 1,300,000 to 500,000 before the final hand of the tournament. It would see Vanauken make a standard raise, which was met by an all in shove from "phillychzsteak1." Vanauken would quickly call with {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, and he was well out in front of the {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} of "phillychzsteak1."

The flop brought three black cards, but they were all spades, which gave no help to "phillychzsteak1." The turn {5-Hearts} and river {j-Hearts} also didn't change anything, giving the hand, and the title, to Vanauken.

"phillychzsteak1" will take home over $3,000 for his runner up finish, but it is Vanauken who will take home the first place prize of $4,320, along with $2,073.44 in bounties, for a grand total prize of $6,393.44.

"Mferr4" Eliminated in 3rd Place ($1512 + $373.44 in Bounties)

Blinds: 5,000/10,000

It looked like three handed play would last quite a while, as the short stack, "Mferr4", had just under 40 big blinds to start. However, those 40 big blinds would find themselves in the middle quite early with {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Again, unfortunately for his opponent, Eric alwaysliquid Vanauken had another monster hand, pocket aces this time.

"Mferr4" would flop a jack, but no further help would arrive, and just like that, they are heads up.

"rounder1420" Eliminated in 4th Place ($1,134 + $412.50 in bounties)

Blinds: 5,000/10,000

"rounder1420" got his final chips in the middle holding {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, but unfortunately for him, Eric alwaysliquid Vanauken woke up with pocket jacks right behind him. "Rounder1420" would flop a stiraght draw, but no further help would come, sending another knockout over to Vanauken.

"centrfieldr23" Eliminated in 5th Place ($864 + $75 in Bounties)

Blinds: 5,000/10,000

"centrfieldr23" was crippled down to just five big blinds after he doubled "rounder1420" up, and he would fold down to just two big blinds before getting his final chips in against three other players. The action would be checked all the way through, and Eric alwaysliquid Vanauken and Mferr4 would end up splitting the bounty, as they rivered the same straight.

"rounder1420" Gets a Double Up

Blinds: 4,000/8,000

After "SAMCROW" min raised from under the gun, "rounder1420" shoved all in from the small blind for 41,000 and change. "SAMCROW" called with {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}, and he had two live cards against the {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} of "rounder1420." However, "rounder1420" would flop two pair, and by the turn, the hand was over.

Michael "Gags30" Gagliano Is the Bubble Boy

Blinds: 3,500/7,000

Action folded to "Mferr4", and he made a standard raise. In the small blind, Michael "Gags30" Gagliano shoved all in for about 68,000 with {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}. "Mferr4" called with {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, and he saw a dream runout, as he flopped two pair, and turned a full house to send the accomplished pro to the rail just short of the money.

Tough River for Gagliano

Blinds: 3,500/7,000

It was a battle of the blinds when "rounder1420" moved all in for his final 95,000. Michael "Gags30" Gagliano was in the big blind, and he thought for bit before calling for almost all his stack.

"rounder1420": {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Gagliano: {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}

The flop of {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} gave "rounder1420" a straight draw, but also made a chop much less likely. A ten on the turn didn't change anything. but the {4-Diamonds} came on the river, giving "rounder1420" the outright win, and a big double up on the direct money bubble.

Since that pot, Gagliano has tripled up, but he is still the short stack on the bubble.
