Day 1 Completed
The 2020 partypoker US Network Online Event #2: $2,500 GTD R+A NLH came and went early Tuesday morning with "Million27" running their way to the finish line for the first-place prize of $1,020.
The second event saw 28 players start off the tournament with that number steadily increasing throughout the registration period as "Million27" outlasted a field of 133 entries at $9 apiece.
Another 216 rebuys and 33 add-ons were also recorded, generating a total prize pool of $3,663 to exceed the guaranteed prize pool.
There were half of the players remaining from the 133 total entries at the start of Level 19 but that number quickly dwindled as "zeldres" bubbled the tournament at the start of Level 26, leaving the remaining players in the money.
Once in the money, it took less than three full levels until the final table was reached.
In Level 30, "TARA96" was the first to fall in ninth place after their pocket sixes came up short to "borecz11199's" pocket sevens and "schaf4206" fell shortly after in eighth place.
A full two levels passed before the next eliminations happened as "hoodrathings", "owsi91370", "rumpthumper", and "FellateMe" all fell in Level 32.
The chip stacks were even once three-handed action started until a huge hand happened where "Milion27" rivered the nut-flush holding ace-jack of clubs, cracking "borecz11199" pocket kings to take a commanding chip lead.
From there, it only took three levels for "Million27" to claim the title after they eliminated "ChickenTendies" in third place, followed by "borecz11199" in second place.
