Aage Ravn Eliminated in 6th Place ($450,000)

Aage Ravn - 6th Place
Aage Ravn - 6th Place
Hand #54 - Benjamin Zamani and Harrison Gimbel

Ryan D'Angelo has the button in Seat 2. Barry Shulman is first and raises to 300,000. Benjamin Zamani reraises all in and action folds to Aage Ravn who asks for a count on the shove. The all-in bet is for 1.450 million. Last time Ravn asked for a count on a shove, he reshoved over top of Zachary Goldberg and ended up eliminating him on the hand.

Ravn then moves all in from the small blind. As if the action couldn't get much better, Harrison Gimbel then asks for a count on Ravn's shove from the big blind.

Gimbel then moves in and Shulman moves out of the way, folding {A-?} {10-?} and leaving three players for the all-in showdown. Here's what they have:

Ravn: {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}
Gimbel: {J-Clubs} {j-Diamonds}
Zamani: {8-Spades} {8-Hearts}

The flop draws an explosion from the crowd when the {5-Clubs} {8-Spades} {7-Diamonds} fall, smacking a set of eights for Zamani and putting him in the lead.

"The {9-Clubs} would be the most interesting turn card," chimed in Ty Reiman.

The turn card is the {2-Spades} and everything stays the same.

One more burn card comes and then the river card is dealt the {6-Diamonds}. Zamani earns the triple up while Ravn was sent to the rail in 6th place, earning $450,000. Gimbel won the side pot from Ravn and was the one that sent him to the rail.
