Drover Shoves and Increases

Under the gun, Kyle Julius raised to 240,000 with {K-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}. Next door, the short stack Mark Drover looked down at {J-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} and three-bet all in for 1.15 million. Julius asked for the count.

After about a minute, he conceded, "Nice hand," and returned his cards to the muck.

The shove gives Drover about a 50% chip increase, and he's out of the basement and up to 1.65 million.

The First Flop

In early position, Faraz Jaka came in raising to 265,000 with {4-Hearts} {4-Spades}, and Kyle Julius came along with a call from the cutoff seat. He was working with {K-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}. Heads up, the flop came {J-Spades} {6-Spades} {6-Clubs}, and Jaka continued out with another 325,000. Julius floated that bet, and the {3-Diamonds} came on fourth street. Jaka gave up the lead with a check, and Julius stabbed at the pot with 465,000 of his own chips. The call came within just a few seconds from Jaka, and the {10-Spades} rivered.

Jaka checked again, and Julius spent a moment deciding what to do. He checked it back, and Jaka's two pair sent the pot his way.
