Jaka Busts Chino...Then Another
We had a feeling there would be fireworks when Chino Rheem was moved to the direct left of Faraz Jaka. Less than two levels later, Rheem is out and Jaka has a ton of chips, more than double the amount of second place.
As told to us by Jaka before the break, he raised preflop and found two callers, one being Chino. A flop came down and he made a continuation bet that chased away the mystery player, but Rheem came along to see the turn. Jaka fired a big bet and Chino again called, landing the river. Another bet from Jaka, this time 100,000, was called by Rheem who mucked when Jaka showed .
Not long after, Chino shoved for about 15,000 under the gun and Jaka called from the big blind with . Chino was crushed with and was unable to survive the board.
The following hand, the player in the cutoff opened and Jaka three bet from the small blind. The cutoff called and a flop came down. Jaka bet a small 2,000, his opponent called, and the hit the turn. The chips went in there and Jaka tabled for a set. His opponent was drawing dead with ace-queen, giving his chips to Jaka.
