Story Time With Christian Harder & Scott Seiver: The Elimination Of Chris Oliver
The 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure runner-up, Chris Oliver, has been eliminated from the tournament. We didn't catch the hand, but Christian Harder did tell us a tale. Whether it's true or a tall tale, well, we'll let you decide.
According to Harder, Scott Seiver limped on the button and then he called from the small blind with . Chris Oliver then moved all in for 5,800 with and Seiver tossed in 1,600.
"I thought I was raising," Seiver chimed in. "I thought he bet 850." Upon realizing Oliver was all in, Seiver sacrificed the 1,600 and folded his hand. Getting an even better price, Harder called and ended up hitting a queen on the river to eliminate Oliver.
Harder and Seiver both indicated that the aforementioned hand may not have happened at all. "I wouldn't do that," Seiver, who recently won the 2013 PCA $100,000 Super High Roller for just over $2 million, said of his button limp. "Use your head." Whatever the case,
