The Champ Goes Runner-Runner Against Seidel

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Moments after he busted Antonio Esfandiari, Erik Seidel hit the rail thanks to Joe McKeehen. McKeehen had put Seidel all in on the {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, and Seidel called off his stack with the {K-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for bottom pair with a flush draw. McKeehen had the {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a worse flush draw.

The turn was the {J-Hearts}, and the river was the {9-Hearts}. That combination of cards gave McKeehen a straight and sent Seidel packing.

"I'm not gonna lie, when I saw the turn I thought I was going to win," McKeehen said after the hand.

McKeehen increased his stack to almost 1.6 million with that pot.
