Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Igor Kurganov
Igor Kurganov

On a board reading {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades} with around 45,000 already in the pot, Igor Kurganov had a bet of 22,500 sitting in front of him. Mikita Badziakouski check-called from the big blind and the {k-Clubs} landed on the river.

Badziakouski checked again and Kurganov fired out another 58,000. Badziakouski used a time extension before flicking in a single chip. Kurganov announced a full house while tabling {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Badziakouski sent over the chips.

Foxen Takes It

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Alex Foxen raised to 7,500 from the button and was called by both Pablo Cabrera and Oleksii Khoroshenin in the blinds.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, Cabrera bet 3,500 and only Foxen called.

They both checked through the {j-Clubs} on the turn to the {j-Hearts} on the river. Cabrera now bet 4,000 and Foxen called. Cabrera tabled {a-Spades}{2-Spades} but was beaten by the {10-Hearts}{6-Spades} of Foxen who had flopped a pair of sixes and improved to two pair by the time the river was dealt.

Dvoress In, Mateos Out

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Adrian Mateos ripped all in for 49,500 from under the gun and Talal Shakerchi came over the top for his last 54,500 on the button. Cary Katz was making bets on who would win before looking down at his cards in the big blind. Katz ended up making the call himself and all three hands were tabled.

Talal Shakerchi: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Cary Katz: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Adrian Mateos: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

The flop came {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} to leave Shakerchi in the lead with his pair of jacks although Katz had the largest spade in his hand. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and the river brought the {3-Hearts} as Shakerchi held on to double through Katz and eliminate Mateos.

Daniel Dvoress was the latest player to take his seat for the first time.

Haxton Doubles Through Mateos

Level 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Isaac Haxton had the all-in button in front of him in the small blind and was called by Adrian Mateos on the button.

Isaac Haxton: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Adrian Mateos: {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for Haxton to flop a set of jacks to double up.

"That's what you get for raising me lightly" Cary Katz said with a smile to Mateos and Mateos just laughed it off.

Welcome Bonomo

Level 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Justin Bonomo didn't even have time to play a full orbit before getting involved in a big pot for all of his chips. With around 25,000 in the middle and the flop reading {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, Christopher Kruk checked from early position. Bonomo bet 11,000 from the cutoff and Kruk check-raised to 28,000. Bonomo shoved all in for 89,000 and Kruk snapped him off.

Justin Bonomo: {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Christopher Kruk: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The turn was the {a-Hearts} to improve players, Bonomo to a flush and Kruk to a set of aces. Kruk was unable to find a board pair on the {6-Diamonds} river and Bonomo doubled through, leaving Kruk with only a few big blinds.
