Yan Triples Before Going Busto
Level 13
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
There was a three-way all in at Table 2 between David Yan, Seth Davies and Sergio Aido, with Yan being the shortest stack.
David Yan:
Sergio Aido:
Seth Davies:
Yan had two live cards and the flop landed to increase his outs with a flush draw. The board then finished out for Yan to hit his flush for a triple and for Aido and Davies to chop the side pot.
"My favorite hand of the tournament so far!" cheered Yan.
"I shoulda called with my three-five offsuit!" chimed Cary Katz.
But Yan's excitement was short-lived as he was eliminated shortly after in 21st place.
At another table, Chris Brewer doubled through Ben Heath when his pocket kings held up against the Brit's pocket fives.
