Having lost a pot to the wheel of Won Jae Lee, Joven Huerto was all-in for 11 blinds in the small blind and Czar Ian Marcos called out of the big blind with the superior stack.
Joven Huerto: A?7?
Czar Ian Marcos: K?9?
The board ran out J?7?3?8?9? and the nine on the river spelled the end for Huerto in 19th place.
Over on the feature table, one of the short stacks was all-in and at risk. Emmanuel Segismundo pushed for 320,000 and David Erquiaga looked him up out of the small blind with a reshove to isolate.
Emmanuel Segismundo: A?9?
David Erquiaga: J?J?
The ace gained some equity until the 5?5?2?4? turn but the Q? river was a blank, sending Segismundo to the payout desk in 20th place.
Shortly after losing almost his entire stack, Sriharsha Doddapaneni pushed for 110,000 and earned a call from Valeriy Pak.
Sriharsha Doddapaneni: 3?3?
Valeriy Pak: A?2?
The end for the poker pro from India was a cruel one as his pocket pair was counterfeited on the K?10?5?10?K? runout, as he had to settle for 22nd place.
Over on the feature table, Terrence Dizon defended the big blind with the 4?2? against a raise by Edwin Dela Cruz. He check-raised on the 5?3?3? flop and got it in for 275,000 on the 2? turn for the 275,000 he had behind.
The pair and straight draw had several outs against Dela Cruz with the K?K? for the overpair.
However, the Q? river was not among them and that spelled the end for Dizon in 23rd place.
William Teoh raised to 40,000 and Nicola Montalbano three-bet to 90,000 from one seat over. Dinh Manh Hung then four-bet jammed for 205,000 in the big blind. Teoh reluctantly folded and Montalbano instantly called.
Dinh Manh Hung: A?K?
Nicola Montalbano: A?A?
The K?7?6?A?3? turn brought no help to Hung and he became the 24th place finisher.
Emmanuel Segismundo raised to 35,000 on the button and was called by Won Jae Lee in the small blind. What followed was a three-bet shove by Richard Tolentino in the big blind for massive 515,000. Segismundo asked for an exact count and tanked for more than four minutes, folding very reluctantly.
Lee then instantly called and the cards were revealed.
Richard Tolentino: A?2?
Won Jae Lee: 7?7?
Lee celebrated already when he saw himself ahead and that remained to be the case on the 9?4?2?5?10? runout.
A three-bet to 70,000 was in front of Sriharsha Doddapaneni and Gary Thompson then pushed all-in for 463,000 total. Doddapaneni asked for a count and then went into the tank for more than two minutes before he made the call.
Gary Thompson: A?K?
Sriharsha Doddapaneni: J?J?
The classic flip was all but over on the J?6?6? flop as Thompson required running kings or aces to survive. Doddapaneni hit the cherry on top with the J? turn to improve to quads, as a meaningless 2? river completed the board.
In three-way action to the 10?9?5?J? turn, both players out of the blinds checked. Po Hsiun Liao jammed for 124,000 and Emmanuel Segismundo check-called in the small blind. Won Jae Lee reluctantly folded and mentioned he had queen-nine for a pair and open-ender.
Liao shook his head and flashed the A?K? for ace-high with a gutshot, which Segismundo was ahead of with the J?9?. The A? river was too little, too late, and Liao departed.
He was followed to the rail by Andrej Nagy and Junho Kim, the latter of which bowed out on the live stream table.
David Erquiaga was moved there after giving up the last pot on the outer table on a K?Q?4?7? turn when Anton Del Rosario jammed into him.
Over on table one, several players jumped out of their seats as a three-way all-in emerged with Linh Ran Nguyen and Harun Mzb at risk of elimination. Nguyen was looking for a double up with some 12 blinds in the middle in the under-the-gun position.
The A?10?6? flop cemented the lead for Tay with the top set and left Mzb drawing dead, while Nguyen could catch running cards for a straight. One of them came with the K? turn but the 5? river was a blank to knock out two players.
