Cheung and Wong Battle
An interesting hand just played out between Hong Kongs Sparrow Cheung and fellow countryman Charles Wong. It appeared Cheung was the initial aggressor from the cutoff and while we do not know what his initial open was for we do know that Wong had re-raised to 2,000 from the small blind and Cheung had three-bet to 5,400.
Wong chewed over his decision but evidently came to play some poker and threw in the call and it was off to the flop. Keen to re-seize the initiative Wong led for 3,500 and Cheung eyed him up dubiously before sliding out the call.
That slowed Wong down somewhat and he checked the turn over to Cheung, who took his time over his decision before electing to bet 6,000. Wong folded fairly quickly and Cheung scooped the 18,000 pot to climb to 44,000 while Wong slipped to 21,300.
