Cheong Busts Jianpeng
It has all gone wrong for Zhao Jianpeng today and his tournament is now over courtesy of Macaus Sam Cheong. Pre-flop it was Jianpeng who waa the initial aggressor, making it 7,500 to go from middle position and action folded around to Sam Cheong in the big blind.
Cheong squeezed his hole cards and looked back up at Jianpeng before shipping for 143,000. Thats a huge raise, and a fairly quick one and Jianpeng sat back in his chair and folded his arms while checking Cheong out.
Wearing his trademark Subzero-style face mask Cheong was giving nothing away and Jianpeng looked torn between calling or folding. Cheong had him covered so it was a big decision for Jianpengs tournament life.
Eventually Jianpeng shrugged his shoulders and slammed down the remainder of his 100k stack into the pot and the cards were turned over.

Jianpeng was the at-risk player but hit the flop hard to a huge groan from Cheong, who sat holding his head in his hands. However, the turn saw Cheong almost leap out of his seat in delight and he gave an excited cry of Yes! as he hit top set to take the lead.
That left Jianpeng drawing to the decks sole remaining ten, which did not make an appearance on the river and he headed for the rail while Cheong stacked up to 282,000.
