Field Grows and Ching Pushes Off Wu
The field has now grown to 17 players with the arrival of Joshua Zimmerman, Tsunchi Yu, Percy Chao and his better half Christina Lai.
However, it was Hong Kong’s Yu Fai Wu and fellow countryman Chow Hung Ching who we caught in action in this particular hand. It was Wu who was the initial aggressor, opening the action to 350 from early position with Francesco Vitali (button) and Ching (big blind) both making the call to take the action three-way to a flop of .
Ching checked the action over to Wu, who continuation bet 600 and while this was enough to deter Vitali, Ching made the call and the hit the turn, completing a possible straight.
Ching now led for 600 and Wu made a quick call to bring in the river. This doesn’t look like it changed anything and Ching continued to sell a believable story, leading out for 2,000.
This was enough to get Wu to give it up and he folded to drop down to 13,900 leaving Ching free to rake in the pot and climb to 16,600.
