Lee Back from the Dead
Level 12
: 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
It was looking pretty dicey for Wai Kiat Lee there for a while but the Malaysian player is right back in the hunt after binking another set. That’s the second one in the space of the last two orbits and it could not have come at a better time for Lee, who, despite clinging on to his tournament life after hitting the last set, was still short.
Lee and Joey Wong got all the chips in pre-flop, Lee’s ahead of Wong’s until the flop fell .
Lee would need some help to survive and while the turn was no good the river was just what he needed and Lee climbed to 35,000 while Wong took the hit god naturedly and dropped to 91,000.
