Yoshinaga Folds Out Gao
Yoshinaga continued to pile on the pressure and use his chip lead like a club to beat Wenling Gao into submission. The Japanese player opened the action with a min-raise from the cutoff, with Gao the only caller in the big blind.
Gao checked the flop over to Yoshinaga, who continuation bet 35,000, which Gao called to keep the pair in action to the turn. Far from killing the action in the hand, after Gao checked once more, Yoshinaga reached for chips and fired again, this time for 75,000.
Gao mulled it over and eventually slid out the call and the dealer peeled off the river. This brought a third check from Gao and a chunky 220,000 bet from Yoshinaga - over half of Gao's remaining chips.
Though she looked sorely tempted, Gao eventually let it go leaving Yoshinaga free to rake in another pot without showdown and further cement his lead.
