Yang and Sun Get Short
It's getting close to crunch time for Jie Sun and Xiao Tian Yang, with both players circling the drain. Sun has been short for some time now and dropped some chips to Jun Fang to fall a little further.
Fang could see Sun was getting short and suspiciously limped from middle position, with Sun checking from the big blind with around 250,000 or so behind. The action went check, check on the flop, with Sun checking again on the turn.
Fang made a delayed continuation bet on the turn for 10,000, Sun check-raised to 105,000 but folded immediately after Fang shoved.
Over on the other table, Xiao Tian Yang and Wei Ran Pu got all the chips in pre-flop with Yang moving in from the small blind over the top of a Pu opening raise. Unfortunately for Yang, Pu actually had a hand and made a quick call.
Xiao Tian Yang:
Wei Ran Pu:
While Yang had a pair, so did Pu, and he held the best pair possible with pocket aces. The runout provided Yang no help and he dropped to 60,000, while Pu stacked up to 1.1 million.
