Yang Gives Siow Warm Welcome
Every time we catch Hsiao Yun Yang in a pot, he's re-raising, and that trend continued in a hand against one of the more recent Day 1A entrants, Graeme Siow.
The Singaporean had not long taken his seat, while Yang had evidently been busy since the last time we caught him in action and was sitting on a stack close to 100,000.
It was Siow the man to kick things off with an under-the-gun raise to 700. Action folded around to Yang who reached for raising chips, and he casually three-bet to 3,100 in total. The blinds bowed out and Siow made the call to take the action heads-up to a flop of , which was checked by both players.
The turn saw Siow take a stab for 2,500 and Yang made a quick call to bring in the river.
Siow led out again, this time for 5,000 and Yang did not take long to get back to his aggressive ways, tossing out a re-raise to 13,000 in total. Siow mulled it over but eventually gave it up, leaving Yang to extend his lead still further.
