Table Move Works Out For Gerard
Level 14
: 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
The field has thinned significantly, with 36 players all hitting the showers early, so there has been some player shuffling. One of the more recent table move saw Edwin Gerard take his place over on table 20, just in time to win a nice pot.
Gerard came in for his first hand at his new table from the big blind, defending against a Hsin Hui Peng open for 5,500. Peng continuation bet the flop after a Gerard check, only to see the US player pull out a check-raise, which after some contemplation Peng called.
The turn saw Gerard jam for an effective 52,200 as this was all that Peng had behind, and the latter eventually decided to let it go.
