Adrian Mateos, one of two players to make back-to-back final tables here in the Poker Masters, was just eliminated in sixth place, one spot better than he finished yesterday.
It happened when Steffen Sontheimer raised to 70,000 holding the 
and then called Mateos' three-bet shove for 740,000. Mateos got it in good with the 
, but he fell behind on the 
flop.
Neither the 
turn nor 
river helped Mateos, and he was ousted in sixth place for $150,000. Along with the $127,500 he won yesterday, he now has $277,500 in Poker Masters earnings thus far.
