The tournament director has announced the total prizepool (€225,000) and payout with 71 players paid.
PokerNews will have access to it in a few minutes. Pokercode founder Fedor Holz launched the day and announced there will be a next Pokercode event at the end of the year.

The start of Day 2 is slightly delayed as lights are turned off in the poker room. Play will begin shortly with 25 minutes left in Level 17.

Pokercode €550 Main Event sets a new record attendance in Gran Via casino Madrid with 459 entries. This festival marks the next step for the poker training website founded by German high stakes legend Fedor Holz and Austrian player Matthias Eibinger.

71 players are reunited in Day 2, all in the money already, securing a €1,000 mincash. Benoit Kuhn, who qualified in Day 1d Fast flight, bagged the biggest stack with 1,050,000 chips after the end of the four opening flights.

From today, levels will be 45 minutes long with a a break scheduled each three levels. Day 2 will end once the final table is reached. PokerNews will be there to cover all day long from 1 p.m. so stay tuned in here to follow Day 2 and until a new champion is crowned on Sunday night!
