Jarred 'FlopNutsOnYou' Graham has been sent to the rail after first being crippled by Stephen 'The Big Show' Topakas, then KO'ed at the hands of Jai Kemp.
Topakas was in the small blind preflop, Kemp was in the big blind and Dean Nyberg straddled for 200. Graham re-straddled to 300 and Nathan re-re-straddled on the button to 400.
Topakas looked down at his hand and then made it 2,050 to go. Graham was the only caller but Topakas went all-in in the dark before the flop of . Graham made the call and the cards were rolled up:
Topakas:
Graham:
The turn and river bricked out to leave Graham crippled.
He moved all in a few hands later with , only to run into Kemp's . The flop of paired Kemp's ace but gave Graham's hand a slim chance of straight. There was no help as the turn and river bricked out.
With three-way action on a flop of , Chris Evans checked to Joel Dodds who led out for 850. Ben Savage made the call from the cutoff as did Evans, going to the turn of the .
Evans checked and Dodds fired out a second shell worth 1,650. Savage and Evans both came along to see the river , which prompted Dodds to flick out another 2,025 into the middle. Savage gave it up and Evans sent his cards into the muck after some deliberation.
"Show me," said Evans.
"No," Dodds replied calmly. "Just think logically about what hand I had."
The aggression continues on table 29 in some crazy action! Again there were three straddles before action was with Dean Nyberg who made it 1,600 to go. Rayan Nathan called before Steve Topakas moved all in over the top. Nyberg made the call as Nathan stepped aside.
Nyberg:
Nathan:
The board was spread and Nyberg's hand holds up to double him up to over 30,000 as Topakas slips back to his starting stack.
Dean 'dinjho' Nyberg moved all in pre-flop from the button holding , but was called by Sammy Youssef holding .
Off to the races we went - but the fop of put Nyberg into the lead. Drawing thin to runners, the board would brick out to leave Youssef with less than 3,000 in chips.
He would ship that short stack into the middle a few hands later, only to find Jai Kemp re-raising all in over the top for around 5,500. Everyone else got out of the way and the cards were tabled:
Billy "The Croc" Argyros didn't last long in today's event.
"I arrived at 12:48 and I'm out by 12:51!" he commented to the chuckles of the room.
His elimination came in another straddled hand after getting his chips into the middle on a flop of . Crocky tabled the mighty but his opponent Steve Topakas was well in front with the .
The turn and river bricked out and Crocky hits the rail.
There's been some crazy action already in this event as the players are really enjoying their time on the felt.
Table 29 recently straddled around the entire table before a card have even been looked at!
A few moments later Jai Kemp straddled under the gun to 400 with Michael Guzzardi making the call, before Steve Topakas shoved all in over the top. Kemp folded but Guzzardi made the call.
Guzzardi:
Topakas:
The board ran out and Topakas spikes a straight on the river to the roars of the table to eliminate Guzzardi from the tournament in sensational fashion!
