Sontheimer Busts to Haxton

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Isaac Haxton raised to 5,500 from the small blind and Steffen Sontheimer moved all in from the big blind. Haxton didn't ask for a count, as he snap-called and Sontheimer was in desperate shape.

Steffen Sontheimer: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Isaac Haxton: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}

"That's a good hand, too," Haxton joked while glancing over at Sontheimer's cards and the board of {K-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades} brought no surprise. Sontheimer took his belongings and briefly chatted with Manig Loeser one table over. "I thought I really had him with ace-queen blind on blind for 30 big blinds."

Gieles Doubles Through Jacobson

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

From middle position, Benjamin Pollak opened for 4,600. His neighbor Martin Jacobson three-bet to 16,000 and small blind Luuk Gieles shoved for 54,500. The big blind and Pollak folded, Jacobson called.

Luuk Gieles: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Martin Jacobson: {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The {2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop was harmless but the {7-Clubs} posed a threat for Gieles as Jacobson picked up a flush draw. The river {K-Hearts} was effectively a blank despite pairing both, and Gieles doubled.

Saout Shoves Into Wang

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Antoine Saout raised to 5,000 and was called by Chaofei Wang in the small blind and Jan Schwippert in the big blind. The flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} was checked through and Wang bet the {Q-Diamonds} turn for 7,500. Schwippert folded, however Saout had other plans and raised it up to 24,500. Wang called and the duo headed to the {7-Clubs} river, which brought a check from Wang.

Saout moved all in for almost the same stack as Wang and eventually forced a fold to claim the pot.

Chip leader at the table is [Removed:17], he already more than doubled his stack.

Small Pots for Jacobson and Teltscher

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Martin Jacobson raised to 4,000 from the hijack and received a single call by Manig Loeser on the button. On the flop of {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} both players checked and Jacobson bet the {6-Diamonds} turn for 5,000. Loeser called and faced a bet worth 15,000 on the {2-Clubs} river when the board paired twice. That was enough to force a fold from the German and he sent his cards into the muck.

Mark Teltscher raised to 4,000 on the button and Sergey Lebedev defended his big blind. On a flop of {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}, Lebedev quickly checked and a bet of 4,000 by Teltscher did the trick. While Lebedev is the usual calm before the storm, Teltscher is in chatty mood to entertain the table.

Dvoress Out, Chidwick In

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Charlie Carrel opened the button and big blind Daniel Dvoress shoved for 32,200. Carrel called after having received a count.

Daniel Dvoress: {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Stephen Chidwick: {Q-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The {10-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} helped Dvoress in front but the {9-Clubs} on the turn switched the lead back to Carrel. The river {2-Spades} was a blank and Dvoress made his way to the exit.

Moments before, Chidwick had bought back into the tournament. Dvoress can follow his elad, players are allowed to reenter till the end of Level 8.
